Pine’s scope:

Biomass power plant, project developed by Sener, has a rated power of 20MW and operates with biomass from mainly energy crops, poplar wood and eucalyptus wood. It is a woody biomass that requires the installation of a boiler that features an advanced design in order to enable an optimum combustion of the energy crops. The boiler includes a re-heater and a turbine with two parts (high and low voltage), as well as some extraction inlets. Refrigeration is carried out through cooling towers.

Pine’s activity in this power station includes the works listed below:

• Electrical installation: main and auxiliary transformers, grounding, cabins, capacitor banks, power centre, MCCs…
• Instrumentation installation, piping pressure tests, verifications and commissioning
• Pneumatic connection between air manifolds and pneumatic consumers
• Supply and installation of the electrical conduits
• Supply, laying and wiring of power wires, instrumentation cables, control cables and control system data network cables
• Electrical tracing system’s supply, installation and tests
• Whole plant’s street and interior lighting
• Waste generated integral management service
• Commissioning assistance
