Project delivered by Pine

Pine’s scope:

Wikinger platform is part of the largest offshore windfarm installed in deep water. This installation, erected by Iberdrola, has a total wind capacity of 400MW that provide 350.000 German homes with electricity. More than 70 state-of-the-art wind turbines of 5MW were installed in a space of 32 square kilometres in the Baltic Sea.

Pine has carried out the entire installation of the offshore substation and the platform, including the heliport and the habitability. The following activities are the ones executed by Pine throughout this process:

• Functional detailed and manufacturing engineering of all the electrical systems
• Complete electrical installation, procurement and installation of the systems. Cables of power, control and communications; LV and MV switchgears; UPS; converters and batteries; cable trays; public address, general alarm, CCTV, voice and data; lighting; electric heat tracing, etc.
• Offshore works. Topsides connection, electrical, structural and mechanical works, painting, scaffolding, etc.
• Onshore & Offshore Commissioning
• Substation commissioning
• Onshore & Offshore Operation & Maintenance
• Offshore logistics
